Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

This page is maintained by Aqib Ops to answer common privacy questions about aqibops.xyz. It describes what the site collects, why, and what your options are. It is not a legal contract or a certification of compliance with any specific regulation — for jurisdiction-specific rights please contact hi@aqibops.xyz.

Who is responsible

aqibops.xyz is an independent portfolio site operated by Aqib Ops ("I", "me"). Any personal data submitted through the site is controlled by me.

What I collect

  • Contact form: name, email, project description, and budget range you provide.
  • Email: the content of emails you send to hi@aqibops.xyz.
  • Calendar bookings: the name, email, and time slot you submit through Cal.com when booking a call.
  • Basic site analytics: aggregated, non-identifying metrics such as page views, referrers, and device type. No cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Why I use it

Personal data submitted through the contact form or email is used only to reply to your enquiry, scope potential work, and — if we work together — deliver the project you hire me for. Calendar bookings are used to hold the call and send reminders. Analytics are used to understand which pages are useful.

Who I share it with

I do not sell personal data. Limited data is processed by service providers that make the site work:

  • Hosting and CDN providers for site delivery.
  • Email provider for reply correspondence.
  • Cal.com for calendar bookings.

If a project I build for you requires additional processors (for example a database or an AI provider), those are documented in the project contract before any data is sent.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within 12 months. Client project data is kept for the duration of the engagement and up to 24 months afterward for bookkeeping and support, unless you ask me to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete any personal data I hold about you by emailing hi@aqibops.xyz. I aim to respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Third-party embeds (like a Cal.com booking widget) may set cookies required for their own functionality — those are governed by each provider's own privacy policy.

Changes to this page

If this policy changes materially I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and note the change in the Journal.
